For five years, Superman has been away from Earth, Superman sought his home planet, things changed on his adopted planet. Finding nothing,the Man of Steel comes back to Earth in the epic action-adventure, he comes back to a changed world--not only has terrorism become rampant, Nations moved on without him. Lois Lane now has a son, a fiance and a Pulitzer for "Why the World Doesn't Need Superman." And Lex Luthor has a plan that will destroy millions - no, billions - of lives.List of Characters on the show:
- Superman (Brandon Routh) The man of still, A hero for our millennium. Which the last son of Krypton returning to Earth
- Lois Lane (Kate Bosworth) star reporter for the Daily Planet and the love of Superman's life, have moved on in his absence and now has a son, a fiance and a Pulitzer for "Why the World Doesn't Need Superman."
- Lex Luthor (Kevin Spacey),who has been sprung from prison with the specific intent of using Superman's technological secrets for his own personal gain and glory. Using a piece of pilfered kryptonite to grow an entirely new continent that he will control.
While modern visual effects have allowed Superman to go to entirely new realms, Singer keeps them from becoming the film’s raison , thus keeping the Man of Steel’s gigantic heart intact--heavy though it may be.
